| This workshop will give you a solid foundation in Illustrator. Prerequisite: familiarity with computer/mouse and proficiency in at least one software application. the toolbar the work area the palettes navigating preferences drawing simple line art and basic shapes fill, stroke and colour transforming objects including scaling, rotating, distorting and shearing using the pen tool to create paths and shapes modifying bezier points and curves creating and painting with solid colours, gradients and patterns creating custom artwork with the brushes, pencil and pen tools creating and formatting type liquefy and envelope creating compound path and pathfinder operations using templates, guides and grids importing and exporting files with illustrator |
